DIY secondary glazing for Tasmanian homes
Tasmania has the coldest winters of any state capital and plenty of older houses with single glass. Our panels are cut in Melbourne to your sizes and sent across Bass Strait flat-packed, ready to stick in.
Nothing is drilled, so it works in rentals and in heritage houses where you want to keep the original windows.
Winter here
Hobart's July nights average around 5°C and Launceston's around 2°C, with plenty of frosts. That's when single glazing loses the most heat and runs with condensation.
Delivery
Delivered by courier from Melbourne, usually in 3–6 business days. Delivery is quoted with your order, from about $40, and several windows share one parcel.
Because panels travel flat and light, sending a whole house of them costs much less than shipping glass.
Areas we send to: Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Kingston, Sorell, the Huon Valley and the rest of Tasmania.
